Our President

We are very proud of our President, Daphne Breakspear, who received the British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to drama in Swindon. Daphne has been a member of The Phoenix Players for many years and has made an enormous contribution to amateur dramatics in the town. Read more about Daphne's award...

Production News

The Phoenix Players continue to bring quality drama to Swindon audiences. Over the years, we have staged a huge variety of productions ranging from classic comedies and farces to gripping thrillers and thought-provoking dramas.

Our recent productions have been very well received by audiences, and we look forward to bringing more great theatre to the Arts Centre stage.

Social Events

The Phoenix Players are not just about performing on stage! We also enjoy a range of social activities throughout the year. From birthday celebrations and meals out to fundraising events, there is always something going on.

We have raised money for various charities over the years, including Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, and we regularly enjoy social evenings together as a group.

New Members Welcome

We are always looking for new members to join our friendly group. Whether you are interested in acting, working backstage, or helping out front of house, we would love to hear from you. Come along to one of our New Members Nights on the first Friday of every month during rehearsals, or contact us at [email protected].
